TAYLOR & DOLLY - Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” and an iconic Dolly Parton hit are the only country tracks that made Billboard’s Top 50 Love Songs of All Time. “Love Story” is number-48 on the list, and peaked at number-four on the Hot 100 in 2009. Whitney Houston’s classic version of Dolly’s “I Will Always Love You” is number-six. FYI - The classic Diana Ross and Lionel Richie collaboration “Endless Love” was ranked number-one on the list.

BAND PERRY - More information is out about The Band Perry's long-awaited sophomore album, Pioneer. The three sibs traveled cross country to Malibu, California to work with super-producer Rick Rubin. Reid Perry says, “Our time in the studio with Rick was so incredible because, during our early sessions, he challenged us to set higher goals as songwriters.” The Band Perry are celebrating their recent Group of the Year nomination for the Academy of Country Music Awards, which will air on CBS April 7th. Pioneer comes out earlier that week, on April 2nd.

TOBY KEITH - Toby Keith has a lot of fans in Texas -- and among them is Governor Rick Perry, who's making him an honorary Texan. The designation will be bestowed upon Toby on March 3rd during the Texas Heritage Songwriter's Hall of Fame Weekend.
