ACM AWARDS – the nominees for this year’s ACM Awards were released yesterday and the biggest headline belonged to Eric Church, who scored himself 7 total nominations. Hunter Hayes picked up 6 noms and Miranda Lambert & Taylor Swift who round out the top nominees with 5 piece. See all the nominations HERE. 

LUKE BRYAN – is co-hosting this year’s ACM Awards alongside Blake Shelton and yesterday helped reveal this year’s ACM nominees. However, in the process, Luke also admitted to being a little hesitant to take on the hosting duties saying, “I didn’t’ know if I was ready. And then when I heard that it was me and Blake. I was like, ‘Oh God, this is something that the fans have got to see.” It certainly is going to be worth checking out. They’re both gonna do a great job. Look for the ACM Awards to air live April 7^th on KOLR10. 

TIM MCGRAW – hit #1…TWICE this past week. Not only has Tim’s new album Two Lanes of Freedom become the #1 most downloaded country album on iTunes since its released, but he’s also got the most downloaded song in country music on iTunes as well. However, it’s not his current single One Of Those Nights, but rather a song off the album called The Highway Don’t Care. So why is this song getting so much attention? Maybe it’s because it features not only Tim singing, but Keith Urban & Taylor Swift as well. Either way, congrats Tim!!
