GEORGE STRAIT - is this year's recipient of the Country Radio Broadcaster's Career Achievement Award. The award, which will be given out on February 26th honors an individual artist or artist who has made a significant contribution to country music and country radio. Past winners include Brooks and Dunn, Kenny Rogers, Charlie Daniels, Dolly Parton, and Reba McEntire.

ZAC BROWN – I’m so excited for ZBB next Saturday at the JQH, however, before they get here, they may be stopping by the Grammys for a quick hardware pickup! ZBB has scored their 8th career nomination this year, with Uncaged being picked as a possible Album of The Year and according to the ZBB, they like their chances of winning. “This is the best record that we’ve ever made, hands down. We’ve matured. We’re better musicians. We’re better writers we’re better as a band and as a unit and it reflects in the music. We spend hours and hours writing the songs and hours and hours arranging them. And we work harder than a lot of other bands I think. So, I think that’s what sets us apart.” We’ll see if that hard work has paid off this Sunday night at the Grammys on KOLR10.

GRAMMYS - Following an f-bomb during the live Super Bowl broadcast, CBS cannot afford to risk another obscene moment at the Grammy Awards. The network’s legal department drafted a harshly worded memo detailing inappropriate attire. CBS declares side boob, female genitalia, and butt crack “unacceptable for broadcast.” “Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack. FYI – Some of the more recent offenders have been Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Pink, and Toni Braxton.
