BRAD PAISLEY - Brad Paisley might be the biggest self-proclaimed nerd in country music. He tells Minneapolis's KEEY that he skipped most of the Super Bowl to catch The Hobbit on the big screen and geek out with a theater staffer about Star Trek director J.J. Abrams helming the next Star Wars film. Brad said, “It really is sad… I’m in a discussion with the kid selling me popcorn, [and] he was like, ‘Is that a Star Wars shirt, man?’ He can see just two letters from the shirt underneath my coat. I was like, ‘Yeah, it is!’ He was like, ‘Well, how geeky are we? I know it’s a Star Wars shirt from two letters.' I said, ‘Yeah, we’re pretty geeky.' He said, ‘Well, what are you here to see?’ I’m like, ‘The Hobbit.’ He was like, ‘Yeah man, it’s pretty good. I think you’re going to like it.’ I think they’re revoking that fact that I’ve had children.”

BLAKE SHELTON - Blake Shelton will make an appearance on his buddy Reba McEntire's sitcom, Malibu Country. He'll play Reba's brother on the show airing on March 1st. Last year, Reba told Entertainment Tonight that she hoped to have Blake and her future stepdaughter-in-law Kelly Clarkson on the show. Malibu Country (non-BS edition) airs Fridays on KSPR.
