HUNTER HAYES - Grammy week has first-time nominee Hunter Hayes squeezing in some last-minute TV appearances before the show Sunday. Hunter performs for MTV News Tuesday in New York City and then heads to Los Angeles for a performance on the Tonight Show w/ Jay Leno Thursday. PLUS, he’s getting a little help from his tour-mate Carrie Underwood to grab some last minute new artist votes. ““He plays everything. He’s not just a singer. He’s not just a cutie pie, which he is. He’s adorable. But it’s not just that. He’s really talented. He’s a really great vocalist. He plays everything on his album, which I think is something he doesn’t get enough credit for. But he’s just a great guy, too. And he’s a hard worker.” Fan-voting to determine the winners of the all the New Artist categories closes at 2pm today.

LADY ANTEBELLUM – ‘s Hillary Scott will mentor Adam Levine’s team on the next season of NBC's the Voice.
