CARRIE UNDERWOOD - The new Aerosmith single is the Steven Tyler and Carrie Underwood duet “Can’t Stop Lovin’ You.” It’s the first song from the band’s 15th studio album Music From Another Dimension! Steven tells Rolling Stone, “I sang a little country and western and all along we thought, ‘Should we get someone in?’ She [Carrie] was in town doing something. I called her up and she said, ‘I’m leaving tomorrow.’ And I said, ‘Can you come over tonight?’ I called Joe [Perry] up, and the rest is history.” Steven and Carrie first performed together at the 2011 ACM Awards, as well as last year’s CMT Crossroads before Super Bowl 46.
BRAD PAISLEY - Brad Paisley is in the studio this week putting the finishing touches on his next album, Wheelhouse. The collection is due out April 9th and includes his current single “Southern Comfort Zone,” as well as celebrity guests Charlie Daniels and LL Cool J…. wait…. what?! “We have some mutual friends and we’ve been writing a song together about something and that’s how we got hooked up and he’s a great, great guy. He’s a really… I just really like him. Anyway, it’s fun to work with someone like that. He’s a brilliant lyricist, too.” Brad was tight-lipped on the collaboration with LL, adding that he “does not sing,” on the album.
